A V-22 Osprey pilot partway through a transit from North Carolina to Arizona, photographed when the fuel stop sun came through the glass just right. The watch went on the wrist when he earned his wings and has been on every flight in the V-22 since. It is a Lorier Hyperion GMT, the vintage flavored traveler from a small family run New York brand, blue and red 24 hour bezel, gilt print, and a bracelet that catches cockpit light the way the old ones did. Gas, pizza, and a GMT already set for the next time zone; cross countries have looked like this for seventy years.
