Data Deletion
How to have your information removed from Department of Watches.
You can ask to have your information deleted at any time. Department of Watches is run by one person, so requests are handled directly and quickly.
How to request
Email orders@departmentofwatches.com with the subject "Data deletion" from the email address or Instagram handle tied to your submission, order, or messages. Include anything that helps locate your records (name, order email, or Instagram handle).
What gets removed
Your submitted photos and story, your Instagram handle on file, your email-list entry, and the personal details on any order (name, email, address). Records that must be kept for legal or tax reasons, such as a completed sale, may be retained only as long as required by law, with personal details minimized.
Instagram data
If you messaged @department_of_watches and want that data removed, the same email request covers it. You can also remove the conversation from your own Instagram inbox at any time.
Requests are confirmed by reply, and completed promptly. See the privacy policy for what is collected.
