Tudor Pelagos FXD, Tudor Pelagos, Rolex Explorer
Four wrists from a west coast SWAT team, pressed together after a callout that ended the right way. A man had shot a police officer and taken hostages, and a multi-agency response answered it. The officer survived. The hostages came home safe. In the stack are a pair of Tudor Pelagos, one the fixed-lug FXD, and a Rolex Explorer, worn by the fellas who ran toward it. The watches are the excuse for the photo. The outcome is the story. If you have a wrist shot from somewhere that matters, submit at the link in bio. Tempus Est Potentia.

The Watches
The Tudor Pelagos FXD is a 42 millimeter titanium diver with fixed strap bars and no date, its bidirectional bezel laid out for timing a navigation leg, a design developed with the combat swimmers of the French Navy. The standard Pelagos is the titanium 500 meter version with a helium escape valve and Tudor's in-house automatic. The Rolex Explorer carries the lineage of the 1953 Everest expedition watches, a clean 3-6-9 dial built to be robust before anything else. Three serious tool watches on one team.
West Coast SWAT, One Callout
The submitter shared this on behalf of a group of teammates on a west coast SWAT unit, photographed after a specific call: an individual shot a police officer and held others hostage, drawing a multi-agency tactical response. It ended the way these are supposed to and too often do not, with the wounded officer alive and every hostage safe. SWAT work is long stretches of training for a handful of moments like this one. This was one of the good ones.
