Bulova CIA Exclusive, automatic
Bulova produces a small run of watches available only through the Central Intelligence Agency, sold inside the building and handed out as gifts and awards. They are not catalog pieces. The seal of the agency sits at the center of the dial where another watch would carry nothing but its own name, on a two tone automatic with a date, dressy enough for a building most people will never enter.
This one was a gift to the owner from a colleague at the agency, the two of them having worked a number of projects together. Where, and on what, stays classified. The photo, at least, can be placed: the garden court of the National Gallery of Art.
