Seiko Denham Field Series Denham is an Amsterdam denim house, and its collaborations with Seiko put a workwear sensibility on Seiko's sports cases: blacked out finishes, muted dials, straps chosen to look better with wear than without it. Seiko has been the default deployment watch for generations of service members for one reason. Accurate enough, tough enough, and cheap enough that losing one over the side is a story rather than a loss. Aboard, 5th Fleet Fifth Fleet covers the Arabian Gulf, the Gulf of Oman, the Red Sea, and the waters around the Horn of Africa, some of the most contested shipping lanes in the world. An amphibious warship carries Marines and the aircraft and landing craft that put them ashore, which makes it a small city with a flight deck at one end and a well deck at the other. Deployment posts usually arrive with a complaint attached somewhere in the middle. This one arrived with the opposite.
