Sangin Overlord
An Emergency Care Sergeant with the Army National Guard, wearing a Sangin Overlord, at a Louisiana National Guard training camp. He is providing medical coverage for an engineer unit training in urban search and rescue: shoring, vehicle extractions, debris removal. While they train, he waits for the moment somebody needs him. In his civilian job he is an ER nurse, and he says the watch counts crucial seconds during procedures and medication doses. Sangin Overlord
Sangin Instruments is the Marine founded brand named for Sangin, Afghanistan, and the Overlord is its statement piece, named for the operation that put the Allies on the beaches of Normandy.
It is their take on the field chronograph: elapsed time under a thumb, in a case built to the same standard as their dive pieces.
Sangin's rise is a small industry lesson. They did not buy their credibility with ad campaigns; they inherited it from the community their founders came from, then protected it by answering to that community directly.
