Hamilton Khaki Navy Scuba
The Navy in the name has a real record behind it. In 1939 the U.S. Naval Observatory asked American watch manufacturers to help mass produce marine chronometers. Hamilton answered with its Model 21, and during the war built about 8,900 of them for the U.S. Navy, along with about 1,500 for merchant shipping and 500 for the Army.
Today the Khaki Navy Scuba Auto comes in two sizes. Both run Hamilton's H-10 automatic with a Nivachron hairspring and an 80 hour power reserve, under sapphire, with a screw down crown. The 43mm is rated to 300 meters and the 40mm to 100 meters.
