Tudor Pelagos FXD GMT
The FXD platform began as a tool built with the French Navy's combat divers, and its defining feature is structural. The strap bars are machined as part of the titanium case rather than fitted as removable spring bars, so the strap cannot be knocked loose. The GMT adds a second time zone hand and a 24 hour bezel to that base. Titanium keeps the weight down, the case is deliberately plain, and nothing on the watch is decorative.

Miami Dade Fire Rescue is the largest fire rescue department in the southeastern United States, and an engine company is the unit that brings water and the first line to the fire. This frame is the cab between calls: bunker gear staged over the boots so it can be stepped into, coat and hood behind the seat, air pack in the back rest, coffee in hand. The gear is arranged for speed. The coffee is optimism.
